At the weekend I went on a glorious hike across the Shropshire hills, and being fit meant that just about all of it was fun and very little of it was a grind. It's nice to have a tangible reward for making myself get out and run three times a week.

I took yesterday as a rest day after that intense hike, and set out for my run today. For no reason I know of, my lungs decided to kick up a fuss. So I went slowly, taking care not to set off asthma. 3.4 km in 30 minutes.

Well, they always say not to over-analyse bad runs. So, on to the next.

Ooooh, glorious hiking! I should pick a hill and go stomp up it, since 'ability to scramble up hills' is most of the reason I took up this running lark in the first place.
