I've just updated my own blog with the tale of woe, but I want to say thank you to my fellow members for keeping this community updated.  Even though I feel stalled on returning to run, the fact that you are both updating regularly is keeping me from giving up entirely, and determined to resume when I have stopped (literally) tripping over obstacles.

THANK YOU

Urrrgh that sounds completely horrible, what an annoying pile of things. I'm completely amazed that you managed to start a regular exercise program with a tiny baby, so I'm not surprised it's been a bit interrupted. But I'm glad it's helpful that I've been continuing to log my own progress during all this. I've been finding it really helpful to remind myself that if I succeed in running three times a week instead of skiving off when I don't feel like it, I can tell the community all about it. It's hard to find the line as a virtual buddy between encouragement / accountability and pressure, so it's reassuring to know that I'm not being a pain by continuing while you're stuck.

You can read the inspiring tales of lots of other C25K people over at http://couchto5k.healthunlocked.com/

I thoroughly recommend it.
