Not surprisingly, the first run after breaking my records was so-so. I had a hard time motivating myself to leave the house and run, and also a hard time finding a good rhythm, so it felt like unpleasantely hard work throughout. I think I'm possibly still a bit stiff from Sunday, though normally a rest-day between runs is plenty for recovery.
It was a nice sunny day, I managed 3.6 km in 30 minutes, down to the river at Mitcham's Corner and then along the Cam. I think part of the relatively slow run is because of faffing about crossing the big junction. Anyway, I will keep going, and it's good that I'm still breaking 3.5 km on what feels like a less-good day.
