Zombies day 5
Nov. 28th, 2013 06:17 pmSlightly increased the treadmill speed to 6.7 kph, and was still able to complete fairly comfortably. For some reason I don't understand, the accelerometer kind of lost track of me about 5 minutes in. I don't know if this is the reason why I only got one zombie chase (which I won at the faster pace of 8.1 kph, yay), or if it was just a quirk of the randomizer, but anyway.
Running just slightly faster than the slowest I possibly can without tripping over my own feet helped me to find the zone where my breathing adapts and I feel like I can keep going indefinitely. I mean, I couldn't actually, my muscles were tiring and I was starting to get the beginnings of a stitch by the final stretch, but lungs-wise I was doing fine. So that was a good run even though I'm coming down with yet another cold (never really having got better from the original one.)
Total distance still 3.3 km, even though I know I was running just a fraction faster all the way.
