rmc28Back to more action-adventure, and another new character. I was slightly distracted because I thought the voice was the same as one of the characters in the The Walk Game, but I've also been admiring how well each of a growing cast of characters in both apps are distinguished, when all you hear is their voices in "conversation".
After a series of ~25min missions, this one took nearly 36 minutes. I'd managed to get nearly home again after 30 minutes so I had to improvise an extra bit of route on the fly. I was really pleased to find that even with this extra distance I got my fastest ZR pace yet, 7:17 min/km.
The app did something strange as soon as the mission was complete; instead of going into another song it made a squawk and then appeared to have crashed by the time I fished the phone out of my bumbag. At least when I restarted it, the mission was marked complete and all the data seems to be uploaded ok, so I'm not too fussed. The "robot voice" giving me time updates has changed and is much clearer and vaguely familiar - Tony wondered if it was the Siri voice but I don't know that enough to be sure.
