25 minutes continuous running, an amended route which landed me back home exactly at the right time (which means it needs to be a bit longer).  I felt like I was running incredibly slowly, but RunKeeper says I had my best pace and furthest distance yet.  So this is good.

In theory, as we are at home and with no commitments until the new year, I should be able to run in my ideal long-term pattern of Saturday, Monday & Wednesday.  No problem this week I think, but running on Wednesday 1st January might be ambitious (from the lack of sleep, I don't intend to get very drunk).  Or usefully symbolic. I can't read a calendar.  Wednesday 2nd January will be the first day that has to fit into our more usual work-and-childcare routine.

Yay, that's great! Feeling you were going slowly and actually beating your best pace, that's ever so encouraging. Good luck keeping up your habit over the break.

It probably doesn't work logistically to suggest actually running together while I'm in Cambridge (probably approx 28th to 8th). But symbolically, we can be slightly less virtual buddies, perhaps.
