I have genuinely not had any time in which I could reasonably run in the past week, which is disappointing but there's no point feeling bad about something I couldn't help.
Today I am hungover like a ridiculous little fresher, because I was drinking wine with a meal out last night and didn't keep track of how much I'd had, and then I went home and poured myself my usual pint of squash and went to bed without remembering to drink it. D'oh. Anyway I was feeling pretty grim at lunchtime today, but (following
rmc28's excellent example) I noted that if I didn't run at lunchtime I'd have to run tonight or miss out altogether, so I dragged myself to the gym anyway.
Once I got going it wasn't too bad; I wasn't sure I could handle the bouncing motion with my sore head and icky tummy, but it was actually fine. I ran for 12 minutes at 7 kph and 12 minutes at a really gentle 6.5 kph and took a brief walking break and finished the last three minutes at 7.5 kph. So a bit better than my last couple of runs but not pushing myself too hard; being hungover is bad for willpower! 3.3 km total.
Fitocracy says I have now run 200 miles total since I started C25K a year ago. So although things aren't going brilliantly just now, that little milestone made me feel a bit better.
