I am full of the dontwannas today.  But if I don't go out in the next half-hour then I won't get out at all today, and because of other commitments, I won't manage three runs this week, because I only have today and Sunday left.

And I dontwanna because I am busy and stressed and would rather sit around and read stuff on the internet even though actually going outside and running will probably help with the stress more than anything else I can think of.

Edit: As I hoped, making this post did help tip me to going out, and I did run for just over 30 minutes, and I do feel a bit better as a result.

Heavy legs

It wasn't easy as pie. Why was it not easy as pie?! It was supposed to be easy as pie!

Oh well. Two times ten minutes today. I think I'll need to repeat this day at least once. I wasn't expecting that, really because I've already managed a solid 20 minutes, so surely this should be a lot easier. Very well. Repeat it is.

I don't know what went wrong today. I didn't have trouble with catching my breath at all, mainly because at no point did I manage to go fast enough to lose it in the first place. That wasn't the difficulty.

The difficulty today was what I have come to think of as 'heavy legs'. It was sooo hard to just move them forwards and there was so little energy to be found in the muscles it was ridiculous. I get heavy legs sometimes, I mean they're always somewhat heavy when running, but actually heavy legs... I'm not certain what's the cause of it. I had a drink before going, I had a snack before going. I think it just happens.
