Yes, it's been another long break due to illness, but I got out on Sunday for a long slow training run (a bit over 18km) and for a zombie run today.  Today was nice - the sun was out, the running was reasonably easy, the story was exciting.

The half-marathon I'm signed up for is in 11 days and I'm mostly confident I'll complete, so long as a) I don't get ill again b) I can get in two more short runs this week and two next week.

The one annoyance is the distance tracking is still not working quite right, but I think it's down to the phone taking a bit of time to sort out its GPS location.  It did something similar in RunKeeper on Sunday, and I had to wait a couple of minutes for the phone to say "ok yeah, know where I am now".  So now I think I'll switch on Zombies Run (which triggers the GPS) while I'm still getting changed, in hopes it can find itself a bit sooner.

Running still feeling awful. I decided to go easy on myself and alternate 5 minutes at 7.5 kph with 5 minutes at 6.5 kph. I took a short walking break after the third fast section, then did the last couple of minutes at pace. Total 3.5 km in 30 minutes.

I found the final episode of the season really annoying; I appreciate that they have to leave things open-ended so they can sell season 2, but this left the protag in the middle of dire situation and didn't clear up any of the loose ends from earlier in the storyline.

Not at all sure what I'm going to do next; maybe carry straight on to season 2, or maybe mix things up a bit more. I'm somewhat tempted to try C25K again, but setting a faster pace for the running intervals. There is a Zombies25K app...
