Week M day 3

5 km in 44'24'', which isn't super-fast but it's quite a bit better than my previous couple of attempts at running the full 5K outdoors and trying to judge the pace for myself. At the moment I'm quite enjoying my day 3 runs. Because I'm aiming for endurance rather than pace, I can find a comfortable rhythm and just keep going.
And today it was really sunny, I'm back to running in just a t-shirt which I haven't been able to do since I started the programme in the last few days of Indian summer last year. I think I might start finding it uncomfortable to run if it gets any hotter, but the sunshine and not starting out cold either from the air temperature or the wind-chill makes everything seem so much more pleasant! Since I wasn't wearing my long-sleeved shirt with pockets, I had my first chance to try out the running pouch that
jack's mother gave me for Xmas. That worked very well; it carried my phone (which was measuring my run using GPS) and keys and was comfortable to wear while running.
