Two failed attempts. I seem to have completely lost my ability to run for 30 minutes without a break. When I was struggling with running at my goal pace, I slowed down to what should be an easy pace for me, but I still couldn't make it and had to take a break in the middle to walk for a bit and catch my breath. 4.0 km including the warmup two days ago, 3.9 km including the warmup today. And my legs feel worse than they usually do after a good run, my feet and my ankles and my calves and my shins are a bit sore, not painful but enough to think I shouldn't put any more demands on my lower legs. I don't know what's wrong; maybe some low-grade inflammatory crud?

With all this, I think the best plan is to declare that next week is going to be a rest week. I have an intimidating amount of Passover prep to do anyway. I'll start again after Passover, and I declare it here so that the planned 10 days off doesn't turn into giving up altogether.
