Week 8 day 2

It was really inconvenient to get to the gym today, as well as being very cold and miserable outside. I did it because
rmc28 has started up running again and I want to keep pace with her. And because if I can keep up this 3 times a week streak, I'll complete the programme by the end of term, and I didn't want to lose that chance.
I ran at 7.2 kph for 21 minutes or three quarters of the workout, then dropped down to 6.8 kph. What made me want / need to slow down was a combination of being very out of breath and not having quite enough determination for another seven minutes of maximal effort. Still, I think today counts as a success because it's still quite a bit further than I've ever managed before. 3.8 km in 33 minutes, or 8'41'' /km, including the warmup. Which also means I actually ran 2 miles continuously for the first time, so yay for that.
