I have that feeling sometimes too on days when it's going really well. I try to save it for the last few minutes and try to run a bit faster then.
You are definitely making progress, though. It's just that it sneaks up on you and suddenly you realise that you can actually run ofr 20 minutes straight and in fact just did. :)
